As part of the firm's insurance defense practice, Regan & Kiely LLP has an active practice in the representation of various professionals, including lawyers, dentists and oral surgeons. We have defended attorneys against claims of alleged malpractice arising out of their representation of clients in real estate transactions, personal injury litigation, and business litigation. We have represented dentists and oral surgeons in hundreds of cases involving allegations of malpractice and have obtained numerous defendant's verdicts on behalf of these clients. We recognize the importance of working closely with the professional whose reputation and livelihood is often at stake in the litigation, and we recognize that our role includes not only obtaining a favorable outcome, but providing the professional client a level of comfort and assuredness throughout the process. As with all other aspects of our defense practice, we recognize that the best outcome often involves an early assessment of liability followed by resolution through negotiated settlement or alternative dispute resolution.
